A refresh of the Oct 3 brief after standing up a tracker for the three things that matter here: holders (accumulating or distributing), and players / activity (growing or not). Companion community detail: Discord update.
Snapshot taken 2026-10-04 ~17:20 UTC. Sources: suited.club public API (/api/stats, /api/staking, /api/leaderboard, /api/tournaments), GeckoTerminal, DexScreener, Robinhood Chain RPC, the Suited Discord. Contract: 0x448168B7C3736FB55C552dCe72D5f1F5B30d77Cb (Robinhood Chain 4663).
At a glance
- Price / FDV: ~$0.000608 / $594K, +6.3% in 24h, −70% from the Sep 30 ATH.
- Holders: 1,058 — down three days running (1,115 → 1,078 → 1,058).
- Tape: still sell-heavy — 792 buys vs 1,101 sells in 24h (329 buyers / 511 sellers).
- Staked supply: 193.6M, 19.8% of supply — up from 12.1% two days ago.
- Burn: 23.6M SUITED (2.42%) after another ~1.9M burned on Oct 3.
- Players: 335 lifetime, 100 active this week; ~24 seated with ~$3.4K in play.
- Vault: $52.1K of player bankroll, up from $48.9K two days ago.
- Read: the product cohort is deepening while the token-holder base is still bleeding. Stakers and players are accumulating; the free-float holder list is not.
1. Market state
| Metric | Now (Oct 4) | Oct 3 | Oct 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0.000608 | $0.000599 | $0.000408 |
| FDV | $594K | $584K | $402K |
| Primary liquidity | $63.5K | $62.9K | $49.8K |
| 24h volume | $125K | $260K | $431K |
| 24h buys / sells | 792 / 1,101 | 524 / 687 (main pool) | 1,263 / 1,703 |
Price has stopped falling and is grinding sideways near $0.0006 (−70% from the $0.002002 ATH of Sep 30). The +67% bounce on Oct 3 was a buyback-narrative move; it has held rather than fully retraced, but the tape underneath it is still net-sell: 24h buyers 329 vs sellers 511, and volume keeps stepping down ($431K → $260K → $125K by primary-pool view). FDV is ~9× the primary pool, so this is still a thin book.
2. Holders — accumulating or distributing?
Still distributing at the token level; accumulating at the product level.
Direct holder evidence:
- Holder count falls every day — 1,115 (Oct 2) → 1,078 (Oct 3) → 1,058 (Gecko, Oct 4 15:04Z). That is the sniper/airdrop churn we traced at launch: the two wallets that took ~31% of supply in the first seconds sold into the pool, and the marginal buyer has not replaced them.
- Top-10 concentration is 47.2%, but most of that is the project's own machinery, not whales: the staking contract alone is ~19.8%, with the v4 PoolManager and the Pons launch locker behind it. The largest pure wallet is ~1–1.4%. No single retail wallet is dumping.
- Tape is sell-side: 792 buys vs 1,101 sells, 329 unique buyers vs 511 unique sellers.
Accumulation evidence (same snapshot):
- Staked supply keeps climbing: 42.8M (Sep 30) → 62.5M (Oct 1) → 174.6M (Oct 2) → 186.1M (Oct 3) → 193.6M (Oct 4). Two-thirds of that is locked for 30 days at the 2.6× boost, per the dev. Staking is the real bid under the float right now.
- Buyback-and-burn still running daily: all-time $16,547 spent, 23.6M burned (2.42%), 5 runs. But the run rate is falling with fees: Sep 30 $5,070 → Oct 1 $2,901 → Oct 2 $5,894 (part-funded by the team's $5K) → Oct 3 $1,178.
- Operator wallet has still never sold: holds 9,999,999.8 SUITED (~1.02%) plus the house USDG share. The team also pushed $5,000 of its own into the Oct 2 buyback.
- Vault (player bankroll) is rising: $48.9K → $51.4K → $52.1K.
Net: treat holder count as still distributing (launch-cohort cleanup) and staked supply + vault as accumulating. The key question is whether the holder line flattens before staking stops absorbing the float.
3. Staking economics (the engine to watch)
From the project's own staking API:
- Total staked: 193.57M / 19.82% of supply; active weight 399.6M (boost-weighted), most locked 30 days.
- Rewards funded lifetime: $22,608 — $21,779 from creator fees (the 20% staker share) plus $839 of rake. That implies creator fees of roughly $109K lifetime (20% share), consistent with the ~$105K we measured Oct 3.
- Reserve: $16,530 undistributed, nothing stuck pending.
- APR: 295% current / 1,044% trailing 5-day at the base tier, up to 767% current at the 30-day boost. This is the number generating both the hype and the confusion — it is a trailing share of a fast-falling fee stream, and it dilutes as more supply stakes.
- The dilution is real and documented: a 2.5M-stake staker expected ~$38/day on the site's indicator and received ~$16. The dev's answer in Discord: total staked roughly doubled in a day to ~20% of supply, so each staker's share of the same fee pool halved.
This is the honest tension in the token: a high headline APR over a shrinking fee base. If staking keeps growing and fees keep falling, the yield normalises fast. Watch funded-fees growth per day vs total-staked growth.
4. Players and activity — clearly growing
The poker room is the part that is working. From the project's stats API:
| Metric | Now (Oct 4) | Reference |
|---|---|---|
| Hands dealt (lifetime) | 48,784 | >500 hands in first hours (Sep 30) |
| Hands this week | 10,358 | — |
| Players (lifetime) | 335 | 100 at launch (Sep 30) |
| Players this week (min 5 hands) | 100 | — |
| Seated / live tables | ~24 / 6 | ~10 seated (Oct 3) |
| In play (on tables) | ~$3,400 | $2,174 (Oct 3) |
| Vault (player bankroll) | $52,108 | $48,927 (Oct 2) |
| Rake (lifetime) | $9,215 | — |
| Current jackpot pool | $630 | — |
- Hands are running ~10K/week, and the seated/in-play numbers on Oct 4 are roughly 2–2.5× the Oct 3 reading — the Discord live counter read "Players: 25 / In Play: $3,859" at scan time vs "Players: 10 / $2,174" a day earlier.
- Tournaments are the retention engine: $1,000 freerolls run daily Sep 30 → Oct 4 and fill in seconds; the dev says there is a $15,000 tournament pool and a large headliner event being planned, with a sponsor being sought. The next freeroll ("The River, wave five") is scheduled with a $1,000 added prize.
- Top of the all-time leaderboard:
0x9f8e…b47e+$4,357.50 (74 hands),nolovelost+$3,658,Gojo+$2,721,riverdog+$2,622,liizzc+$2,528. Real USDG, not points.
Read: players/activity is the one metric that is unambiguously up — more seats, more money on the tables, more hands, more Discord presence (233 members, ~44 online vs 230/28 on Oct 3). This is a live product with real usage, not a launch-week chart.
5. The Discord (summary — full detail in the companion doc)
- 233 members / ~44 online, Level 3 boosts. Growing, still small.
- Product-first culture, price talk banned. The dev enforces it: "price talk does no favours for projects… gets incredibly toxic."
- The live complaint is staking/APR confusion and mobile UX. Users expect the headline APR to pay linearly and are surprised by dilution; the top interface asks are bigger cards/fonts, a working mobile experience (promised next week), and spectator mode.
- The team is one pseudonymous dev (ikue) plus a moderator (myles) — consistent with the on-chain picture. Responsive, but thin.
6. What is actually driving the tape
The last two move-days were buyback-announcement days, not product days: the Oct 3 +67% followed the raise of the buyback share from 10% → 15% of creator fees and the ~$5.9K buyback. The Oct 4 move is a stabilization, not a new catalyst. The product is growing on its own track (players, tournaments) but the token price still trades on the burn schedule.
7. The honest read
Bull. A working poker room with rising player counts, a rising vault, staked supply about to cross 20%, a daily burn, a 15% buyback share, a team that has never sold its bag, and a genuinely active product Discord. If you believe the room keeps compounding, the burn + staking lock is a persistent bid under a shrinking float.
Bear. Holder count is down three days straight on a still sell-heavy tape; the fee engine is decelerating ($5.1K → $2.9K → $5.9K → $1.2K daily buyback); the headline APR is a trailing number over a falling base and is already diluting; the team is anonymous, the dev is a serial launcher, and the token is optional to play. "Real product" is not the same as "token holds value."
Checkpoint. Whether holder count flattens (it is the cleanest accumulation/distribution signal we now track hourly) and whether funded staking fees grow while total staked grows — if staked supply keeps rising faster than fees, APR and the burn both fade. The next 3–7 days of the hourly snapshots decide whether this is a durable cash-flow token or a launch-month flash.
8. Tracking (starting now)
Added scripts/suited_track.py + an hourly fomo-suited-track timer. Each run snapshots and appends to data/history.jsonl:
- Holders: count, top-10 / 11–30 / 31–50 concentration (GeckoTerminal).
- Accumulation / distribution: staked supply, buyback spent + burnt, 24h buys/sells and unique buyers/sellers, direct balances of the operator, buyback, staking, vault and the six largest launch-window wallets (RPC).
- Players / activity: hands, lifetime + weekly players, seated, live tables, in-play USDG, vault, jackpot, tournament entrants (suited.club API) and the Discord member/online counts plus the "Players / In Play" live counter.
